Historic Civil Rights Era pictorial photograph of the Kennedy's dating from the May 1968 Oregon Primary Presidential Campaign. View includes Robert and Ethel Kennedy in the surf with their pet dog, Freckles along the North Oregon Coastline near Astoria. This image captures a quiet moment alone without the press entourage and was photographed unobtrusively with a long telephoto lens.
Featured in a new HBO documentary film, "Ethel" about the life of Ethel Kennedy by Rory Kennedy. Premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, January 20th thru the 28th, 2012. In 2007, Kennedy’s HBO documentary film entitled the "Ghosts of Abu Ghraib" premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and won the 2007 Primetime Emmy Award for Best Documentary. I am honored to be included in this new film.
Robert was a living embodiment of his slain brother. He represents the resurrection of the promise that he and his brother embodied while in the White House. That restoration, after Dallas, took many forms: Civil Rights at home, Human Rights abroad and the end of Apartheid for all people. His message and charisma and his policies were understood as ending all of the cruel and artificial divisions allowing him to bring a process of healing between people.

My work is sold as Fine Art Giclee (inkjet) prints or fade resistant Fuji Crystal Archive (photographic) prints.
Clyde is known internationally for his historic photographs of Robert F. Kennedy. His RFK images are featured in Rory Kennedy's documentary film, "ETHEL" which debuted at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. The RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights has recently acquired key images from Clyde's RFK portfolios for their collection. Historic photos of author Ken Kesey, William Burroughs and actor Bill Murray are featured in Mark Christensen's book Acid Christ. Clyde's portrait of actor/director Warren Beatty is the cover photo for Peter Biskind's, Star. Several vintage documentary images appear in a new NFL films project, entitled, "Fearsome Foursome" as well as Dan Forrer's upcoming HBO documentary film centering on the birth of Hip Hop music. The Seattle Museum of History and Science now features his vintage Seattle skyline panoramas. His regional portraits of surviving pioneer families (and characters) appear in several new books, periodicals and webzines, including Ken Bilderback's, Creek with No Name, a new soft cover about the history of Cherry Grove, Oregon.
Clyde is the grandson of Clyde Leon Keller, (1872-1962) an important Oregon-based Plein-Air Impressionist Painter. His portfolios can be viewed at www.clydekeller.com.

May 20, 2012-- Featured in Elizabeth Graf's grand 10th treasury-- JUST COULDN'T RESIST -- what I had in my favorites! Treasury #10
Do visit Elizabeth's fine art store where her fabulous painting may be viewed:
I grew up on Long Island, New York, which is an island AND a long peninsula (connected by bridges) not far from the beach and I now live in Florida, which is a long peninsula (connected by land) -- and I am not far from the beach. From the moment I could hold a crayon I have been an artist -- and possessed a "light bulb" inside my head that was always shining. It is a wonderful way to live Life -- being creative and always inspired. I feel very lucky.
I was privileged to attend one of the finest art schools in this country -- Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in Manhattan -- there I met very talented and interesting people. I have shown in Manhattan, upstate New York, on both coasts of Florida (including Miami and Miami Beach). For a while I had an 8 foot x 8 foot mural along Collins Avenue in South Beach. One of the paintings on this website was made into a billboard that stood for a month along the bay in Sarasota, FL.
I like to see the good and beauty in everyone and everything. It is my hope that my artwork reflects these feelings.
My mother's family was from the Caribbean and probably is the reason for my fascination with marine life, plants and tropical motifs.
I appreciate your interest in my work and if you have any questions, just contact me. I also work on custom pieces and if you want to see images of paintings I have sold prior to Etsy, I would be happy to send those to you. They are in private collections.

November 30, 2011 Featured in the "Shadow Casters" treasury:
Curated by Roxie of sobejeweled:
I was born and raised in North San Diego and without rubbing it in, the weather is always near perfect. I have loved vintage jewelry for over 20 years. It started with just one beautiful piece and then came the books, then the collecting, then the spare room becoming a warehouse and what my husband so sweetly refers to as my 'obsession'. With retirement just a few years away, I am selling it all off. Baby steps though, must do it very slowly (this really hurts to part with my finds)!
June 9, 2011 Featured in the FATHER'S DAY Treasury:
Curated by Sukran Kirtis of Sukran Love and Lace on Etsy:
Sukran Kirtis's Romantic Handmade Lace jewelry is inspired by the brazen colors of Caftans of the Ottoman Empire and the opulence of Cannetille filigree from Georgian Era. Each piece is given extreme attention to detail by a most capable lace jewelry artist. Sukran's hand crafted lace exemplifies sensual elegance and evokes supreme feminine fascination.
