I was positioned less than 20 feet from Kennedy for an intimate capture of this famous well published beach run at Fort Stevens, Oregon. The wide angle perspective captures Robert with his beloved dog, Freckles shown tagging behind as they run north along the Oregon coastline. This image dates from the May 24, 1968. Exposures were made on Kodak Ektachrome film. The original transparencies and negatives have been kept in dark storage and are in pristine condition for their vintage. This popular print faithfully captures the original vibrancy and color of the original chrome.

Kennedy fought for Civil Rights as Attorney General; his positive vision for the advancement of peace, justice, equality and responsibility is still relevant today. This image is part of a portfolio of images selected by the RFK Center for Justice and human Rights and the New York City Metropolitan Transit Authority in a promotion celebrating the renaming of their Triborough Bridge to the RFK Bridge. Included in my forthcoming book on Robert Kennedy.

Hi, I'm a photographer and artist selling my fine art prints at

My work is sold as Fine Art Giclee (inkjet) prints or fade resistant Fuji Crystal Archive (photographic) prints.

Clyde is known internationally for his historic photographs of Robert F. Kennedy. His RFK images are featured in Rory Kennedy's documentary film, "ETHEL" which debuted at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. The RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights has recently acquired key images from Clyde's RFK portfolios for their collection. Historic photos of author Ken Kesey, William Burroughs and actor Bill Murray are featured in Mark Christensen's book Acid Christ. Clyde's portrait of actor/director Warren Beatty is the cover photo for Peter Biskind's, Star. Several vintage documentary images appear in a new NFL films project, entitled, "Fearsome Foursome" as well as Dan Forrer's upcoming HBO documentary film centering on the birth of Hip Hop music. The Seattle Museum of History and Science now features his vintage Seattle skyline panoramas. His regional portraits of surviving pioneer families (and characters) appear in several new books, periodicals and webzines, including Ken Bilderback's, Creek with No Name, a new soft cover about the history of Cherry Grove, Oregon.

Clyde is the grandson of Clyde Leon Keller, (1872-1962) an important Oregon-based Plein-Air Impressionist Painter. His portfolios can be viewed at

Artisan Statement:

I have been making dolls for almost 20 years. Mostly cloth dolls, as I love to challenge myself to manipulate the fabric into different things, such as conveying motion. I also love to do research. I try to understand where things come from, or looking up name meanings or why certain customs are celebrated. Most of the dolls I make either have some sort of story or a nature reference. I spend many hours with each doll, and it is always hard to let them go! I do hope you enjoy them as much as I have enjoyed making them.

Every since I can remember I've always enjoyed everything vintage and antique. During the grunge era my wardrobe consisted of house dresses from the 40's and 50's worn with leggings and black oxfords, I went through an Art Deco phase, and my first car was a vintage Karmann Ghia ...basically I'm a vintage/antique nerd!
