Clyde's 2011 shows are a meditation upon our complex times drawing upon his archives. The current catalog offers a rare glimpse of literary giants Ken Kesey and William Burroughs. Other notables such as Bill Murray, Julian Assange and Robert Kennedy are shown with an eye on history and contemporary events. All original photographs are sold as Fine Art Prints made to museum grade standards with superior fade resistance under display conditions as established by Wilhelm Imaging.

In this classic piece of Americana I was able to photograph one of the last "whistle stops" with Robert Kennedy addressing a crowd of supporters from inside a caboose. Robert is shown in partial silhouette as I peered out from the rear of the Caboose interior, north towards the Albany Train Depot. I waited for Kennedy to hold his hand out to greet the crowd in a sequence of 6 exposures... the result is a wonderful "decisive moment" catching the crowd unanimously in rapt attention.  Voted "Best Picture" of the year in 2001 at the annual Digicraft Pacific NW Print Competition. Selected by the RFK Center for Human Rights in a Fall 2008 Promotion for the renaming of the Triborough Bridge (RFK Bridge) with the NYC Transit Authority.

"Mr. Keller's photographs document America at the very highest level of photographic arts. To be in the moment of Whistle Stop, though the lens of Mr. Keller is to connect with history in a beautiful way. The print was exquisite, the service and responsiveness of Mr. Keller truly outstanding. Mr. Keller's archive is arguably the best value available on the web for the serious photography lover\collector."  Washington DC Photographer, William Boling

William Burroughs with Libation
With Portland, Oregon poet, Marty Christiansen
Kesey Poetical Hoo-Haw - June 9, 1976

Photographed in front of Ken Kesey's barn home on the day of the literary bash. Pictured is Burroughs holding his libation with pal poet, Marty Christensen.  Our latest encounter with Marty Christiansen came in 2003 when he performed his poem, "Bats" on stage at the Bagdad Theater and Pub in Portland, Oregon.  The event celebrated the publishing of "Spit In The Ocean #7 All About Kesey" edited by Ed McClanahan.  Burroughs, who died at age 83 in 1997 from a heart attack, figured largely at the1976 Poetic Hoo-Haw, reading from his celebrated work, "Naked Lunch."  Please view other photos from this Kesey collection which includes portraits of Portland poet, Walt Curtis
who also read at the 1976 Poetic Hoo-Haw and at the 2003 event held at the Bagdad Theater.
