The candid pose of a senior citizen raising his hand figured into a larger photographic project documenting programs in part funded by United Good Neighbors. The negative from which this print is made is in pristine condition-- it is also a print I've meaning to make for over 44 years.

It was originally published in a local Portland, Oregon UGN brochure as a beautiful duotone reproduction. This quadtone print recaptures the look and offers an exquisite range of tone, depth and brilliancy... faithfully capturing this vintage documentary portrait.
