My archival B&W giclee print offers an exquisite range of tone, depth and brilliancy... faithfully capturing this vintage Alaskan portrait. The candid pose of an Alaskan old timer was captured in downtown Anchorage late in the evening on the longest day of the year. Even at 11pm the city was awash in a subdued but brilliant light perfect for the bright outlook this subject provided now 44 years ago. The negative from which this print is made is in pristine condition-- it is also a print I've meaning to get to since taken.
