Elliott Bay Vista Homage to the Old Seattle Space Needle, Ferry Boat and the Princess Cruise Ship Seattle- Summer 1979
From Original Kodachrome
This urban skyscape chronicles the "old" Seattle in its last hurrah before the onset of the 1980s and it's emergence as the Emerald City. As shown the harbor, Space Needle and Ferryboat are seen in a beautiful rendering from the late afternoon light as captured from atop West Seattle. The city still stands tall but the ferries have been replaced and the landscape has slowly changed over the past three decades with many new skyscrapers. Part of a larger 1980 photographic art calendar project entitled "Market & Square." The popular calendar was dedicated to the many people who fought for the preservation of Pioneer Square and the Pike Place Market... and to the Artisans, Farmers, Street Musicians, Merchants and everyone who has ever known the market and Square.
16x20 inch archival giclee art print Image dimensions are @11.3x17 inches Heavyweight Epson Satin paper Signed/Dated on lower white border
Clear sleeved on foam core Shipped flat, insured with delivery confirmation
This archival color giclee print offers an exquisite range of tonality and brilliancy faithfully capturing this vintage view now 30 years ago. Suitable for immediate safe viewing and ready for framing. The copyright information does not show on the final print and is for web display purposes only.
