This is currently the only available print to appear for sale in several plus years. This was the last surviving print as was found in his office desk. Print made under the supervision of Alfred Eisenstaedt with a master printer at the Time Life Photo Lab. Time-Life Stamp is shown in photo detail.
Alfred Eisentaedt is considered one of the top tier photographers of LIFE Magazine and has been named the "father of photojournalism." This is one of the rarest, highly regarded and most valuable prints from his portfolio. It has been included in a number of important exhibitions including the "The Eye of Eisenstaedt" of over 60 important, "little-known gems, and never-before-exhibited photographs" held at the Monroe Gallery of Photography located in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
