The "Kingston Ferry" captures a romantic view of one of the ferry boats in service on revealed under hazy lighting conditions nearing sunset. Even though the ferry is far away the telephoto lens brings it and the opposite shore and the Olympic Peninsula into closer view including the orb of the sun which is exposed perfectly through the dense atmosphere. Lighting conditions such as this are rare-- so please enjoy this homage to Puget Sound ferry riding- in an original Kodachrome now 31 years old.
