Early 1966 Portraits are also included including a highly detailed and poignant black and white image entitled, “A CLEAR VISION”

Robert Kennedy "A CLEAR VISION"
This deliberative portrait captures Robert in a head on telephoto view as he prepares to speak at a political rally held inside the Old Labor Temple in Portland, Oregon. His clear vision for political reform is brought to the forefront in this dramatic, high key lit scene.
Author Terrence E. Puapp now contributes commentary for several photos in these new listings-- including these observations inspired from my detailed 1966 photo of Robert's shoes as shown below and now offered for the first time as a beautiful giclee print.

"THE WEAR OF THE CAMPAIGN"
Although this picture of RFK's footwear was taken in 1966, it serves to symbolize Kennedy's long walk and tireless campaign for social justice. In the four years following his brother's assassination, RFK never allowed a minute to be wasted. He sought to have his brother's legacy deepened and extended through his own ongoing legislative efforts for civil rights on behalf of excluded minorities in the US, as well as through his trips to Latin America and South Africa in order to highlight the problems of human rights abuses and social injustice. In reflecting on and reviewing all of these travels he embarked upon, we rediscover that his spirit and message conveyed an idealism that he and his brother sought to share with the world. RFK's worn shoe is a symbolic reminder of all of the miles he traveled in his quest for social justice on behalf of the excluded, the marginalized, and the dispossessed. The picture of Kennedy's worn shoe shows that he actually walked in the shoes of those for whom he was such a tireless advocate.-- Terrence E. Paupp
