WARREN BEATTY PORTRAIT "DARK EYES"16x20 Inch Archival B&W Giclee Print Image Dimensions are @11x16.5 inches Heavyweight Epson Satin Paper Signed/Dated on lower white border
Shrink Wrapped on Foam Core, Corner Mounted Shipped Flat, Insured with Trackin Featured as the cover photo on a new book about Warren Beatty, authored by Peter Biskind and published by Simon and Schuster. The 640 page hard cover book will be available in February 2010. It is entitled, "STAR: How Warren Beatty Seduced America."In this vintage documentary arts portrait, I captured Warren Beatty on the sidewalks of Portland adjacent to the Benson Hotel. I asked for this pose (hand on chin) with and without his wearing sun glasses. This image combines both poses so that his eyes become visible through his dark sun glasses. Since we both stood our ground this became technically feasable making for a most unusual portrait. I used a Nikon F film camera, loaded with Kodak Tri-X and equipped with a 55mm Nikkor lens. The negatives are pristine producing a sharp looking print!
This archival B&W giclee print offers an exquisite range of tone, depth and brilliancy... faithfully capturing Beatty's complexion. Makes a strong impression. Suitable for immediate safe viewing (the print is shrink wrapped on foam core board) and ready for framing.
