This vintage documentary news photo captures a startling victory in a story telling photo of Ray Lampkin's 1st round knockout in his successful bid to retain the NABF Title. His opponent, Mike Ryan is shown laying unconscious as the final count is given while Lampkin and his coach Mike Morton hug each other. One of my favorite celebratory photos, achieved by perching myself on top of the ropes for an all inclusive elevated, corner view of the ring. Photographed with a moderate 24mm Nikkor wide angle lens using Tri-X, a perfect combination to capture the event.
