President Jimmy Carter, In the Spotlight New York 1976, Democratic National Convention
This vintage documentary portrait captures Jimmy Carter on the eve of his nomination by the Democratic Party to run for the U.S. Presidency. He is shown in the spotlight greeting Delegates at a reception immediately following his nomination. The camera I used for all of the Republican and Democratic Convention photographs were Motorized Nikons with Nikkor Lenses. This photograph was taken on the with an 180mm Nikkor telephoto, a personal favorite for fast available light work when a longer unobtrusive "reach" was appropriate. Exposures were made on Kodak Tri-X B&W film. The original transparencies and negatives have been kept in dark storage and are in pristine condition for their vintage.
16x20 inch archival giclee art print Image dimensions are @11.3x17 inches Heavyweight Epson Satin paper Signed/Dated on lower white border
Clear sleeved on foam core Shipped flat, insured with delivery confirmation
This archival B&W giclee print offers an exquisite range of tonality and brilliancy faithfully capturing this historical presidential subject. Makes a strong impression. Suitable for immediate safe viewing (the print is shrink wrapped on foam core board) and ready for framing.
