1966 Lightnin' Hopkins portrait, Lookin' Up, Clyde Keller Photo

This vintage portrait captures Lightnin' Hopkins during a performance held in the Portland State College Center Ballroom in 1966.  He is shown with guitar looking up to him on stage from the ballroom floor.  The camera in use here was an original Nikon F coupled with the fabulous Nikkor 105mm tele lens.  This available light photograph captures the spirit of this most compelling (free and loose) blues style singer.  Exposures were made on Kodak Tri-X B&W film. The original transparencies and negatives have been kept in dark storage and are in pristine condition for their vintage.
