"ALONE" Compelling portrait of this most notable American taken less than three weeks before his death. This view of Kennedy walking alone is at the Portland International Airport and was unplanned due to a lull in the schedule. I was the only photographer to view this moment. His dog, Freckles is shown accompanying him (to the stage left) in the grass. A 300mm telephoto Nikkor lens was used to emphasize the isolation.
