"TROUBLED WATER"

Featured is Claire Wachter perfoming (solo) a variety of piano works by American Composers during the second half of the "Bach To Brubeck" Donor Concert held at the Bend High School auditorium as part of the Central Oregon Symphony Season. The program included works by American composers Margaret Bonds, William Bolcom, George Gershwin, Paul Desmond and Dave Brubeck. Claire Wachter is chair of the piano department at the University of Oregon. According to the program materials, Claire "has concertized throughout the United States, as well as internationally." During the evening concert she played with the Obsidian Chamber Orchestra for the Bach, "Concerto In D Minor." The Donor Concert was held April 19-20, 2008. The photo is part of a continuing series celebrating living in Bend, Oregon.
