This atmospheric view captures one of Bend's most stunning architectural buildings, the historic 1904 Allen-Rademacher House. Since 2007 this Craftsman Bungalow has been listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Once home to Mirror Pond Gallery (for 15 years) it has become Art Central's new education and resource center. Photographed in the late afternoon on March 14, 2008. The Gallery (now an Artist Workshop) is located behind the downtown shopping area adjacent to Drake Park and the Deschutes River, Mirror Pond.
