This kinetic documentary photo was taken outside the Sunnyside Grade School, Portland during the May 1968 Oregon Primary. An endearing image of enthusiasm and hope... and a high point in the Oregon Primary. Several weeks earlier RFK (April 26, 1968) spoke in Indianapolis... "Education, jobs, community participation, an end to hunger, these are the elements of a healthy citizenry. And they must be achieved."
