Specifications
THE SKY IS THE LIMIT From 1978 Kodachrome Original Coos Bay Bridge Oregon Coast, Near North Bend 16x20 Inch Archival B&W Giclee Print Image Dimensions are @15x10 inches Heavyweight Epson Satin Paper Signed/Dated on lower white border
Shrink Wrapped on Foam Core, Corner Mounted Shipped Flat, Insured with Tracking
This archival color giclee print offers an exquisite range of tone, depth and brilliancy... faithfully capturing the original Kodachrome transparency. Makes a strong impression. Suitable for immediate safe viewing (the print is shrink wrapped on foam core board) and ready for framing. At the time this photograph was made, I lived a short distance from this magnificent viewpoint in the cozy hamlet of North Bend, Oregon. This can be a magical place with warmer winters (than the Willamette valley) and plenty of atmosphere. At night one could hear fog horns in the distance from across the bay against a backdrop of stillness... really quite enchanting. The Coos Bay Bridge was designed by Conde B. McCullough (Oregon's master bridge builder of more than 200 historic bridges) utilizing a unique cantilever design constructed with curved upper and lower chords. Its 5,305 foot length was the longest of Oregon's highway system when built in 1936.
