Robert F. Kennedy, BOBBY AND FRECKLES, Clyde Keller RFK photo Robert F. Kennedy Photograph "Bobby and Freckles" Fort Stevens State Park, Oregon CoastMay 24, 1968
You are looking at one of my RFK Coast Portfolio images that is included (along with 150 other full page photos) in a new book on Robert F. Kennedy, scheduled for publication later this year. These beautiful color and black and white portraits were captured on the Oregon coastline on May 24, 1968. Several of these images are now part of the RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights photo collection as well as being included in Rory Kennedy's new HBO documentary, "Ethel." All of these portraits can be printed to 20x30 inches as museum grade archival prints.
My historic documentary photo of Bobby walking with his pet dog Freckles along the Oregon Coast shoreline is offered as a museum grade art print. I used an advanced motorized Nikon F with an 85mm Nikkor lens, a personal favorite for pictorial or photojournalism photography. The moderate telephoto perspective lends a most natural pictorial perspective perfect for the brilliant overcast light. Kodak Ektachrome film was used for this eloquent study.
Robert was a living embodiment of his slain brother. He represents the resurrection of the promise that he and his brother embodied while in the White House. That restoration, after Dallas, took many forms: Civil Rights at home, Human Rights abroad and the end of Apartheid for all people. His message and charisma and his policies were understood as ending all of the cruel and artificial divisions allowing him to bring a process of healing between people.

Robert F. Kennedy Photographic Illustration "Far from Defeat" Old Portland, Oregon Labor Temple, October 24, 1966
One in a series of "RFK Speech Portraits" featured in this store.
"This generation of Americans has a rendezvous with destiny." RFK quoting Franklin Roosevelt- October 24, 1966, Portland, Oregon
In my new interpretive "posterized" artwork based upon my original 1966 portrait, Robert Kennedy is shown in an off guard moment shortly before he spoke at the Old Labor Temple in Portland, Oregon. This archival giclee print offers an exquisite range of tone perfect for the dark light and brooding emotional tone evocative of Robert's mood. Suitable for immediate safe viewing and ready for framing.
RFK STUMP SPEECH, Photo No. 56, Clyde Keller Photo The Unseen RFK Portraits- - STUMP SPEECH Part Two
Here is a vintage May 18, 1968 portrait fully restored from my pristine film negative in the second and final set from Robert F. Kennedy's Whistle Stop Stump Speech he gave at the Woodburn, Oregon train depot. Robert F. Kennedy Photo RFK STUMP SPEECH Portrait No. 56 Woodburn, Oregon Whistle Stop May 18, 1968 The Robert F. Kennedy Stump Speech Portraits were captured by Clyde Keller at Woodburn, Oregon during a series of classic Whistle Stops he made between Portland and Eugene along the Willamette Valley corridor. This is the second set of his complete speech. Clyde captured Bobby's speech, rapid fire exposing two rolls of 35mm black and white film photographing every significant gesture and facial expression RFK made during this historic speech. This collection is descriptive of Kennedy's compelling emotional range as he spoke about the imposing threat of nuclear war. Kennedy fought to end the War in Vietnam; he pushed for Civil Rights as Attorney General; his positive vision for the advancement of peace, justice, equality and responsibility is as relevant today. The Assange Tapestry "Free Speech, Free Assange" Large Fine Art Print of Julian Assange, WikiLeaks Founder
16x20 inch archival giclee print Printed on Epson Satin paper Signed/Dated and Titled on lower white border
Clear sleeved on acid free foam core Shipped flat, insured with delivery confirmation
Here is my homage to WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange who had won in the reader's poll conducted by Time Magazine as the Person of the Year. My art print incorporates public domain images and text of code from the recent Embassy Cables, in a new creative design that underscores Julian's philosophy and commitment to full internet transparency in this information age. The image doubles as one of those rare instances where my graphic approach links up with contemporary world views. Assange is a symbol for those who yearn to live in a world free from hegemony, secrets, lies, wars and repression. His work is widely supported throughout the world (75% from December 21st Poll by ZDnet) more so than it is domestically at 51%, but the fact is that he has not been charged with breaking any existing laws throughout the world and WikiLeaks release of confidential documents is supported by every major newspaper worldwide as being in the public's best interest. In a recent article appearing in Spiegel International, Thomas Darnstadt comments that, "Since 9/11, press freedom in the West has come under attack as governments argue that national security is more important than transparency. But the hunt for WikiLeaks is a greater danger to democracy than any information that WikiLeaks might reveal."
